Research Associate in Environmental Economics

Environmental Economics is among the core areas of research pursued in the School of Social Sciences. You will investigate corporate behaviour and attitudes on energy use as part of the Manchester team participating in the Centre for Sustainable Energy use in Food chains funded by RCUK (Research Councils UK) to address End Use Energy Demand Reduction in the UK.

You will have completed a quantitative PhD programme in the Social Sciences (preferably in Environmental Economics) with demonstrable experience with survey techniques and the statistical analysis of survey data and with interdisciplinary research.

The post is available from 1 July 2015 and it is preferred that the appointment is made on a part-time (50%) basis for two years but other arrangements are negotiable.
