Research Center Associate, GFLEC

This position reports to the Center Specialist. This position does not have any direct reports but may lead project teams, provide coaching and delegation of work to other employees.
The primary focus for this position is applying econometric analyses to consumer financial data to study financial capability and financial literacy in the U.S. and globally.
The key responsibilities include:
Collecting and analyzing data from the U.S. and abroad.
Assists in writing reports, policy briefs, and presentations geared for academic, government, and private institutions.
Contributes to developing research-based teaching materials for financial education programs.
Compiles results and prepares technical reports and documentation of outcomes, as well as prepares literature reviews.
Assists in evaluating research methods, procedures, and techniques based on established objectives and contributes to the research projects currently in progress.
Assists in completing data collection and IRB forms.
Identifies fundraising opportunities, drafts grant and project service agreement proposals and submits proposals for government and private institution grant funding opportunities.
Works with project teams to explain facts, policies, and practices related to the field of financial literacy and exchanges information with other GFLEC researchers and collaborators.
Attends and presents, as necessary, at Center’s events, such as the Financial Literacy Seminar Series and Public Policy Luncheons.
Provides key statistics and findings of GFLEC research to use on social media and in conference summaries.
Performs other work related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
