Researcher - Economy, Families and Work

We are seeking a researcher to work across a range of projects, initially providing research support in the Economy and Families & Work research themes, most likely in the areas of employment and skills policy. Your duties will include conducting research, writing reports, contributing to project development, building networks and assisting with events.

You will have good research skills and a sound knowledge and understanding of UK politics and the public policymaking process.

Requirements

a graduate-level qualification in an economics-related field or equivalent training and work experience, combined with a good knowledge and understanding of macro-economic, employment and skills-related policy issues
good research skills, preferably including quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
the ability to manage your workload to meet deadlines
a clear commitment to the work and values of IPPR.
