Come be part of a team at Facebook tasked with building world-class, marketing ideas for the world's largest brand marketers. You'll pair your analytical skills with Facebook's unique data set to identify consumers that matter to our clients and the insights/motivations that drive them. You'll work hand in hand with our Creative Strategists and Ads Research team to inform rich creative development and strategic media plans to achieve our client's business objectives, and move the market. Finally, you'll combine your data-driven powers, strategic acumen, and deep understanding of Facebook's marketing platform to develop data-driven creative and media optimizations to improve our work in real-time. You're a do'er, who lives to ship ideas that will impact our biggest partners, as well as 1 billion + people on Facebook. If you have a strong passion for people and desire to uncover consumer behavior to help your clients connect with customers in an impactful way, then this is the role for you. This is a full-time position located in our New York or Menlo Park office.

Responsibilities
Think in new ways to leverage Facebook's unique dataset to identify key audiences (and associated insights), to inform the creative development of large brand ideas
Partner with FB product teams to scope solutions that make your work scalable
Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to measure and communicate the effectiveness of online advertising
Establish creative and targeting best practices via experimental design.
Package these insights effectively for both internal and external audiences

Requirements
2+ years in a quantitative field, such as consulting, market research, or advertising Degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or similar quantitative field
Ability to design analytical models and mine large datasets
Strong SQL, relational databases, and Excel skills, familiarity with distributed computing tools a plus (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.)
Academic and work experience with statistical analysis and experimental design (primary research experience preferred)
Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and effective manner to a broad range of audiences
Must be able to multi-task and keep on track in a fast paced, ever changing environment
