We have an opening for a Researcher to join the Antitrust practice in our White Plains, New York office. NERA employs economic theory and quantitative methods, grounded in a thorough understanding of the market, to provide a full range of theoretical and empirical economic analysis and testimony in matters involving mergers and acquisitions, antitrust litigation, and competition policy. We analyze the entire range of economic issues that arise in antitrust cases, including market definition, market dynamics, entry conditions, pricing, single firm and multi-firm conduct, agreements, and profitability. NERA's experts assess and, when appropriate, testify regarding the economic aspects of various competitive competition-related questions involving, for example, mergers and acquisitions, foreclosure and exclusionary conduct (e.g., tying, bundling, and refusals to deal), horizontal and vertical restraints, monopolization and abuse of dominant position, and collusion. NERA's experts also have extensive experience estimating damages in antitrust matters, as well as assessing the appropriateness of class certification.

Your responsibilities may include designing and building quantitative models and applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data; reviewing, summarizing, and analyzing industry trends and competitor and academic research; creating trial exhibits and presentation materials; drafting memos and expert reports; managing large data sets and writing programs to implement complex analyses; and participating in client meetings and conference calls.

NERA offers a challenging and rewarding professional experience with competitive compensation and benefits, and skills enhancement training.
