We are currently recruiting for a Senior Consultant or Associate Director to assist in the growth and development of our Transport and Infrastructure practice in London. The successful candidate will be based in the London office and must have demonstrable expertise in originating and managing work, ideally with clients in the public and private sectors. This would include playing a key role in building client relationships; selling work; managing work; and developing a staff of world-class talent to execute the engagements. The successful candidate will play a key role in business development efforts and in planning, directing and supervising work performed by junior team members. Candidates will have a track record as an entrepreneur and business generator; proven success managing, developing and mentoring staff; and prior experience working as part of a successful consulting organisation.

Key areas of focus for the practice - and therefore areas of work in which experience is particularly relevant include: economics-based strategy; economic-impact appraisal and cost-benefit analysis; economic regulation; and competition. It would be useful for applicants' work to have been carried out in a range of different settings such as: corporate strategy/public policy; investment appraisal and funding approvals; business case development; regulatory and competition investigations; deals; and commercial disputes. Experience working in a range of different sectors would be beneficial.

Candidates would likely hold a postgraduate degree in economics, econometrics or a related discipline with a strong academic record and have a strong and demonstrable track record of success in their
career to date. Candidates should be outstanding team players. They should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Additional fluency in other languages would be an advantage.
