Are you an economics professional with experience of analysing country risk within a commercial setting? Looking for the chance to further your career with an established and leading company? If so, read on.

We are the world's leading source of commercial information and insight on businesses, enabling companies to make informed, prescient decisions. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Economist (Eastern Europe and Central Asia) to join our team.

Country Risk Services (CRS) provides comprehensive information for evaluating cross-border risks and opportunities around the globe. Any firm or individual who conducts cross-border transactions is exposed to country risk: the risk associated with a country's overall political, economic and commercial performance.

Our Senior Economists are responsible for writing and editing economic, political and commercial analysis for CRS solutions, ensuring insight is delivered to customers in a timely manner, to high quality and accuracy standards. Our Senior Economists contribute as subject matter experts to various initiatives at D&B and will lead projects that improve or enhance existing solutions, create new revenue opportunities, raise the visibility of the company and team through media appearances and increase customer satisfaction. Senior Economists also contribute to the training, coaching and mentoring of less experienced members of the CRS team.

Your duties will include:

- Writing and editing Country Reports, Risk Lines and other material for the International Risk & Payment Review (IRPR)
- Writing and editing country reports
- Participating in development projects that enhance the quality of our client's country risk analysis and/or products
- Client facing activities, be they presentations on our latest regional risk outlook or support to our commercial team for customised research programmes
- Contributions to custom analytical commissions

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Demonstrated experience in country risk analysis for the Eastern European and Central Asian regions within a commercial setting
- A postgraduate qualification in economics or a related subject

Additionally, as a Senior Economist, you will be expected to manage more junior colleagues and have excellent organisational and communication skills. The ability to work independently on multiple assignments without compromising on quality standards is also essential.
