Working closely with the Director and Assistant Director, and other members of the team, the successful applicant will:
Provide advice and make recommendations to the Executive and senior DTF management in relation to economic, governance, regulatory and policy issues relevant to gambling and the gaming litigation.
Primary responsibility for coordinating and drafting analysis and advice on gambling policy and financial issues to the Treasurer and government (e.g. through ministerial briefings and cabinet submissions).
Develop a project management framework for the Review of the Gaming Machine Entitlement Term project including drafting briefings to the project Board, management of consultant contract and engaging with stakeholders.
Develop influential relationships with the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) and the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) in relation to gambling policy issues.
Other gambling policy advice and analysis.

To succeed in this interesting and challenging role you will have:

Strong people leadership and coaching skills.

Demonstrated skills and experience in relationship management and consultation.
