This position is responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and documenting economic conditions affecting the real estate and mortgage markets. Performs complex modeling including statistics, decision trees, econometrics, and calculations. Extracts data from literature and primary sources to prepare and present to management. Use skills as an independent, seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and established policies and procedures. May represent CoreLogic to external groups.

Assemble and review data.
Conduct statistical analyses and complete studies of real estate and mortgage related data. The analyses may include complex statistical analyses or larges data sets (millions of records) on real estate public record information, multiple listing data, mortgage performance and other business or demographic data.
Produce written summaries for blogs, papers and presentations of research.
Prepare and maintain programs and documentation for analytical and risk models.
Monitor and re-engineer current models and their prototypes as needed, to improve and enhance core models and group research objectives.
Lead and manage quantitative and qualitative research projects independently
Assess and communicate research results to internal and external stakeholders.
Fulfill ad-hoc requests for data and analytical reporting to support business units throughout the organization.

Posting Job Requirements Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
6+ of directly related experience preferred.
Previous work with real estate public records data is preferred.
Detail oriented.
Able to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Strong PC skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Strong understanding of relational database principles and experience developing SQL scripts. Proficiency with statistical software such as SAS or SPSS is required.
