Founded in 1978, this Chicago-based economic and financial consulting firm is led by internationally renowned economists. The firm works on a wide variety of projects and applies high level economic and statistical analyses to solve important problems. We conduct economic impact analyses of policies and contemplated actions by businesses and public agencies, advise clients, and provide support for litigation and regulatory proceedings including expert testimony.

Role:
• Lead projects on input-output modeling, perform analyses using RIMS, IMPLAN and other models.
• Participate in other economic consulting projects and perform detailed research and economic analyses on a variety of other applied problems as required.
• Document tasks, methods, data, and findings to a high level of precision and ensure accuracy and efficiency in all work.
• Prepare drafts of written analyses, reports, and presentations.

Requirements:
• MA or PhD in Economics with 10 years or more of experience.
• Proven experience with I/O analyses.
• Coursework in econometrics and statistics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and congenially with others.
• Demonstrated ability in areas of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, slide presentation software, and statistical software packages including EVIEWS and STATA.
• Experience with GIS preferred.
