Job Description
Working within a small team, your role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following;

- Seeing beyond the immediate project and develop relationships with clients at all levels and build further business
- Ensuring projects are set up and completed according to the Mott MacDonald quality assurance system
- Manage resources and coordinate specialist discipline input from the rest of the organisation as required
- Travel at short notice is/will be required by projects and/or business opportunities
- Prepare proposals, presentations and support other business development activities
- You may be required to work outside normal working hours to complete project deliverables

Some of the 'typical' projects undertaken for blue chip clients include:
- Due diligence
- Master planning
- Strategic studies including strategy formulation
- Market studies
- Feasibility and pre-feasibility studies
- Operational reviews and technical audits
- Conceptual engineering
- Lenders engineer / lenders technical advisor

Candidate Specification
Candidates should have the following qualifications/experience;

- Degree qualified (in an engineering/technical/economic discipline) and preferably with a finance/business masters
- 5+ years relevant post graduate experience in technical or management consulting or within an energy related firm or funding institution
- Previous experience of carrying out financial or economic analyses would be desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to communicate in another language a distinct advantage
- Self-motivated, diligent, demonstrating an ability to work independently and to tight deadlines, taking full responsibility for your own work
- Proven and demonstrative ability to coordinate projects and control budget
- Comfortable with uncertainty and incomplete information
- Familiarity with the oil & gas sector and its dynamics would be an advantage
- Highly IT literate with strong word processing, Excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint skills
