We're looking for a Senior Executive to join our Telecoms and Media economics and regulatory advisory team because we are experiencing tremendous growth and expanding our activity in the Media and Broadcasting space.

Economic Advisory

EY's Economic Advisory team comprises around 40 economists and regulatory specialists, and is now looking to expand significantly on its existing practice to capture exciting opportunities, particularly within the media and broadcast sectors. As a result, we are looking for skilled post-graduates or equivalent professionals with experience in economics, regulation and/or strategy to grow our team to the next level.

EY's Economics Advisory team combines deep sector knowledge with strong technical skills in quantitative analysis, economics and econometrics to address key issues in strategy, regulation, competition, planning, valuation and government policy.

Role Responsibilities

In your role as a Senior Executive you will have responsibility for:
Providing or contributing to quantitative and economic analysis as part of client engagements
Preparing and presenting clear reports to support these analyses and solutions
Managing own time to budgets and communicating progress against plan to assignment manager
Applying or referring to a range of EY services and products in meeting clients' needs

Role Requirements

You will have knowledge and experience in some or all of the below:
Experience in the Media and Broadcast sectors gained through commercial, consultancy or regulatory roles (essential)
Strong academic and professional background in a relevant analytical discipline – including, but not limited to, Economics, Finance, Business, Industrial Economics or Econometrics
Experience of one or more of competition, regulation, strategy, business planning, and policy development
Experience of applying quantitative analysis and/or economic theory to the development and evaluation of public and regulatory policy
Well-developed analytical skills, including a strong understanding of Excel and other suitable solution platforms.
