Senior Teaching Fellow in the Economics of Gender and Development

Fixed Term for 6 months
Salary: £33,476-£39,528 pro rata p.a. inclusive of London Allowance

The Department of Economics invites applications for a Senior Teaching Fellow available from 1 January 2015 for six months. The successful candidate will be expected to teach upper level undergraduate courses in gender economics and development economics and will also be expected to contribute to the administration of the department.

You will have (or be near to completing) a PhD in economics, proven expertise in development and gender economics, and the ability to teach undergraduate courses in economics to a high standard. You will also be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for research-led teaching, and an interest in the mission of SOAS and its Department of Economics.

Interviews are provisionally scheduled for week commencing: 17 November 2014
