My Honours Dissertation: The South African Yield Curve as a Predictor of Economic Downturns: An Update was Published in The African Review of Economics and Finance, Vol. 2, No. 2, June 2011, Pages 167 – 193. While working for ERM Southern Africa, I worked within the contaminated site management team as a researcher/junior consultant contributing to projects dealing with oil and gas companies. I have developed excellent managerial skills while being the manager of three seperate projects, as well as report writing and communication skills. I am looking to develop a career within the financial market ideally as a trader dealing with equity, currencies and other financial instruments. I am however also interested in working as a financial analyst and later studying a Masters and doing a CFA.
