A Post-Doctoral Researcher in Economics (M/F)
A specialisation is foreseen in economics of population aging, cultural economics and applied econometrics.

• 2-year fixed-term contract, 40h/week, potentially renewable for one year.


Tasks
• The candidate will be working within the Research Unit CREA. The candidate is expected to contribute to an ongoing research project on the economics of population aging.
• The candidate will be under the supervision of Professor Andreas Irmen.
• The candidate is expected to:
o contribute to the research activities (seminars, conferences, workshops) of CREA and of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance
o provide assistance to PhD candidates
o undertake teaching activities up to two hours per week
o tutor students

Profile
• PhD in Economics
• Excellent knowledge of and ability to conduct independent research at a post-doctoral level with the objective of publishing in international, peer reviewed journals
• Linguistic skills needed to evolve in a multilingual environment. Fluency in English is required, good knowledge of either French or German is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work in team
• Record of published or forthcoming articles in scientific journals will be an advantage
