The Analyst role is responsible for evaluating and optimizing the United Airlines aircraft schedule to balance revenue/costs within operational constraints.

Responsibilities

Develop optimal schedules for the United and United Express International and Domestic network
Integrates world-wide schedules into US Domestic hubs, including United Airlines, United Express and Star Alliance partners, as applicable

Deploy aircraft resources to optimize the fleet for maximum revenue potential while working to minimize cost

Evaluate operational schedule alternatives to improve reliability while maximizing revenue and ensuring adherence to multiple operational criteria

Partner with internal and external operating groups to reduce station manpower and facility costs, ATC delays, and crew penalties while utilizing and critiquing output from multiple computer models to ensure decisions maximize profitability

Re-deploy aircraft assets on the weekends, holidays and for other special events to improve revenue

Provide data and analytical support for the Scheduling and Planning processes

Work closely to maintain station/hub, maintenance, crew and other internal relationships to ensure schedule feasibility and reliability

Effectiveness measured by financial performance and operational reliability

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree required
Knowledge/Skills - required
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
Ability to solve complex problems
Aptitude in measurement, assessment, and evaluation

Experience

2-4 years professional analytical work experience or 1 year of Aircraft Scheduling/Planning experience required
