The Bren School of Environmental Science & Management (http://www.bren.ucsb.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Environmental & Resource Economics at the rank of Assistant Professor to start July 1, 2018. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or equivalent in Environmental and Resource Economics or a related field, or have completed all requirements for the degree at the time of hire. A joint appointment with the Department of Economics is possible.

We seek to expand our faculty group in environmental and resource economics within the Bren School. The successful candidate will have a PhD in economics, agricultural economics, or related discipline and will possess strong applied economic theory and/or empirical skills. The candidate will have existing or emerging research activities that are related to one or more of the School's application interest areas such as marine resources, water, conservation planning, climate, international development, and pollution prevention. Demonstrated depth within environmental and resource economics and interest in collaborating across disciplines are desirable attributes.

The Bren School is a graduate school within UCSB that provides rigorous, multi-disciplinary training in environmental science and management to Master's and PhD students. The faculty is drawn from the natural sciences, social sciences and management.
