The Becker Friedman Institute is seeking a highly accomplished, early career researcher as a Becker Friedman Institute Research Fellow. The Research Fellow will pursue research on leading edge themes in the study of economics. The specific area of study will reflect the research interests of the candidate. An integral part of the institute's research activities, the candidate will be invited to organize academic conferences, host acclaimed scholars, and engage with the rich intellectual life of the University of Chicago. The position is available for up to two years, July 2017 to June 2019.

Education

Doctoral degree in Economics or related field, or will obtain doctoral degree by start date required.

Experience

Prior experience preparing and presenting work at meetings required. Prior experience writing peer-reviewed manuscripts required.
