Behavioral Health Economist

Position Summary
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Economist to help us determine return-on-investment on non-monetary projects, evaluate scalability on products, and aid us in determining our inherent value for both tangible and intangible costs. In this role, you will use cost-benefit, cost-minimization, and/or cost-utility analyses and other methods to help us determine the value of our pilots and projects. You Will:
• Participate in evaluations and research studies as lead and in collaboration with internal staff as well as outside collaborators
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, including identifying data sources and approaches to address research questions or hypotheses, directing research and programming staff, providing quality assurance, and analyzing results
• Prepare materials for dissemination, including technical reports, and issue briefs and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications
• Contribute to proposal and business development efforts
• Conduct quality assurance review on project deliverables
• Serves as a Task Lead on designated projects
• Perform additional duties as required


You Have:

• Doctoral degree in Economics, Health Policy, Health Services Research, Public Policy or related field, plus at least 2 years relevant experience. May consider applicants with Master's degree in a related field and 4+ years of relevant post-degree experience.
• Must have experience with the design and implementation of program evaluations, including the identification and selection of comparison groups
• Must have experience with the design, management and implementation of health services, health policy, or health economics research. Experience with large evaluation projects is a plus
• Must have substantial experience conducting data analyses with medical care; experience in the high-tech industry is a plus
• Familiarity with survey data is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and aptitude in leading project teams
• Track record of publication in peer-reviewed journals is a plus
