DESCRIPTION

Base is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Business Analytics team. This is a high visibility position that will work across the company as well as senior leadership.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A DATA ANALYST WILL INCLUDE:

Provide reporting and insights to help Marketing, Sales and Customer Success Teams make informed business decisions.
Compile relevant data from a variety of sources including SQL database.
Ensure data integrity by understanding business processes and back-end data structure.
Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for each team.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions.
Provide specifications and guidance to the data engineering team to ensure data is structured in a way that facilitates business analysis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Degree in a highly quantitative/technical field (E.g. Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, etc.)
2+ years of experience working with relational databases (MySQL or similar) for business analysis.
2+ years of experience with a data visualization tool (E.g. Tableau).
Ability to communicate with business stakeholders as well as data engineers and developers.
Ability and desire to learn new tools and technologies quickly and independently.
