Our Global Finance Shared Services organization is seeking a Data Analyst to support our global reporting efforts for our key process areas.

Key Qualifications

Five years of relevant experience with a focus on reporting tools and methodologies
Experience working with automated accounting systems, SAP experience preferred
Two years of hands-on experience with Business Intelligence software such as Business Objects and Tableau
Two years of SQL utilizing complex queries in a large relational data warehouse environment, NoSQL experience a plus
Two years programming experience using a high-level scripting language such as Python
Ability to develop, manipulate and condense data workflows using large volumes of data and convert data into business insights
Experience applying advanced analytics (machine learning, statistical methods) in a business environment major plus
Able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Adaptable and flexible with the ability to learn quickly on the job
Extraordinary focus on details, accuracy and quality
Ability to deal with ambiguity, work independently and be a self-starter
Clear, effective communication

Description

• Design and develop data workflows, management and operational reports to meet business requirements utilizing the latest data visualization platforms
• Maintain and suppor our existing library of reporting
• Perform complex analyses and advise management on data interpretation and decision support
• Apply domain expertise to develop analytical solutions for business needs
• Develop and maintain global data infrastructure
• Work with business and cross-functional teams to thoroughly document reporting processes, systems, business requirements, and functional specifications for reporting applications and systems
• Partner with our Global Finance Projects and IS&T teams on new and existing projects by representing our team during the full project management lifecycle.
• Serve as a consultant and advocate, using innovative thinking to drive efficiencies and improve the internal user and customer experiences with our tools
• Effectively manage stakeholders, subject matter experts, executives and other internal groups through effective communication
• Provide support to user base and manage ad hoc data requests

Education

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or other quantitative discipline
