Description
The Sustainability Analytics team supports Nike's sustainability strategy with data-driven insights and tools.

ROLE SUMMARY: Logical, detail-oriented analyst to help with sustainability projects involving scenario planning, portfolio evaluation, and life cycle assessments. Collaborate with a small team within a large, global organization, taking ownership of given work and proactively self-motivating to remove roadblocks with missing or messy data.

ROLE PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND: The Analytics team needs support for its three lead sustainability experts / data scientists. Support will be provided by: data handling (cleansing, manipulation, testing); data analysis; process mapping; identifying gaps in information; and summarizing the sustainability insights to drive project completion. TEAM VALUES
We believe that great things are more likely to happen with the right culture. Life should be challenging, and the challenge should be fun. Teams that create and nurture a collaborative culture will excel.

We believe in messy learning within a culture of collaboration. We believe in being comfortable with the uncomfortable. We believe in meaningful, powerful, and intentionally connected experiences. This is the power of networks. We believe that innovation takes place through the collective effort of many people with a diversity of thought, experience, background, culture and skills.

Great work does not drive action, communication does. The Analytics team understands that communication is not the last mile of a project. Rather it is a thread woven throughout the process. To this end, we strive to:

• Actively seek insights and input from the right partners early and often.
• Define the communication tools, methods and opportunities in project planning
• Say less, listen more
• Tailor communications to the audience.
• Actively develop communication skills that are true to each teammate.
• Make the complex simple.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in applied science, mathematics, economics or sustainability required
• 3-5 years in professional or academic within analytics, sustainability, mathematics, science or economics
• Graduate degree in applied science, mathematics, economics or sustainability a plus
