Sun Basket is a fast growing national organic meal kit delivery service rated #1 by Buzzfeed, backed by top-tier investors, and led by one of San Francisco's top chefs. As the company continues to explode in size, we are adding a Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team and help continue with this momentum. The Data Analyst will be responsible for discovering quantitative analysis and actionable insights helping our Retention, Marketing, Customer Service and Operations team here at Sun Basket. This will include creating analytic dashboards, conducting deep dives into our data, and providing actionable insights and recommendations for ongoing and future initiatives.

What you will do:

Work within the BI team to anticipate analytics needs and help our business users answer questions and make better decisions derived from data insights.
Design and implement data structures and develop action-based standard and customer analysis reports via SQL queries.
Collaborate closely with Retention, Marketing, Customer Services and Operations departments.
Create dynamic, interactive, and insightful reporting dashboards for monitoring key performance metrics, trends and revealing insights.
Help design and analyze A/B and multivariate experiment for marketing and retention initiatives.
Effectively present and communicate analysis to the company in order to drive business decisions.

Education and Experience:

BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline (CS, Engineering, Math, Economics, Statistics).
3+ years of experience working in an analytics capacity.
Highly competent in Excel.
Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL and MySQL).
Ability to use data analysis for storytelling and turning data into actionable insights.
A/B implementation, testing, modeling and analysis.
Statistical functions, time-series and regression modeling.
Knowledge of statistical packages including R, SPSS, Stata.
Experience with AWS, namely Redshift and Aurora is a bonus.
Experience with Looker, Tableau or Microstrategy is a bonus.
