Applications are invited for a fixed-term three-year Lecturership in Policy Evaluation at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford, commencing no later than 1 January 2017.

You will teach and examine students taking the school's Master of Public Policy (MPP), supervise MPP students, and contribute to academic administrative duties (such as helping to assess MPP applications). You will also be expected to engage in research and publication.

You will have a PhD (or written confirmation from your university that you have passed your PhD) in Public Policy, Social Policy, Development Studies, Economics, Health or Education Policy, or a closely related field; and a track record (commensurate with your level of experience) of internationally excellent publications. These requirements must be fulfilled by the start date.

You will have a demonstrable commitment to Public Policy teaching and research; and a demonstrable ability to teach, supervise and assess high-achieving and challenging graduate students from around the world in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to engage a wide range of people including academics, policymakers and the public.
