The USITC is an independent Federal agency that adjudicates import injury cases and provides the President and Congress with high-quality analysis and technical support on international trade, tariff, and competitiveness issues. The USITC also publishes the United States' Tariff schedule.

This position is located in the Office of Operations, Office of Industries. As the Director of the Office of Industries, you will provide executive leadership to the USITC office that is responsible for analyzing and producing pertinent qualitative and quantitative data and analysis on industry, economic and technical matters relating to the competitive posture of the United States in agriculture, mining, services, and manufacturing in domestic and world markets. This Office is focused on developing, maintaining, and utilizing knowledge with respect to a wide range of commodities and industries in order to provide information, reports, and technical services to the President, the Congress, and/or the public pertaining to international trade and related international industry and economic issues. You will also serve as a key member of the executive leadership of the Commission, actively participating in activities that drive the strategic direction of the Commission and optimize resource usage to further the Commission's mission.

In addition to international trade expertise, we are also seeking an individual with extensive experience leading teams of highly technical skilled professionals and supervisors and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers and staff to achieve strategic and statutory goals.

Occasional Travel, a Secret clearance, and U.S. citizenship are required.
