Background Information

The Economic Researcher reports to the Economic Research Senior Manager who reports directly to the Chief Economist, Senior Director of Economic Research and Sustainable Business Development.

Dubai Chamber is increasingly recognized as imperative source of comparative advantages for businesses in Dubai, and the ultimate partner for businesses for the achievement of a sustainable economic growth in the short and long-run. This is being achieved by providing high quality services to the business community in Dubai. The job holder is responsible about providing economic information in research formatting to support the role of Dubai Chamber in this area.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

1.Conduct the whole cycle and process of economic research in order to produce and publish economic reports and informative bulletin pages and briefers.
2.Process and analyze data relevant for insightful research.
3.Prepare other studies and reports as required.
4.Other relevant tasks of the job purpose when, and if required.

Essential Job Qualifications ( Essential)

- Master's Degree in Economics and/or Business studies.
- Minimum 5 – year experience in an economic research institution in the same position
- Knowledge of understanding Chamber services
- Knowledge of economic and business issues in the region and internally
- Expertise in research techniques and data management techniques
- Previous experience of managing research projects
- High command of English (Reading, Spoken, and Written) Arabic is preferable and or an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office
