Responsibilities

Candidates must demonstrate excellent judgment and outstanding professionalism, must be mature, focused, organized, and able to work independently and multi-task while prioritizing work load. We are looking for someone who is energetic, proactive, and personable with excellent follow-up skills and initiative. Candidate must be a team player who can juggle a wide range of tasks and activities. Flexible hours and overtime hours are required, and may be unexpected at times.

Perform detailed research; gather literature and data from client databases, public and commercial databases and specialized industry resources; review and summarize relevant case data, and prepare analysis reports in a clear and concise manner.
Create and program spreadsheets, databases, charts and graphs and develop regression and other statistical analyses.
Audit own work product and work product of others to assure quality.
Coordinate administrative functions including time tracking.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, accounting or finance.
Experience with programming in statistical analysis softwares (e.g., Stata or SAS) and other relevant languages (e.g., SQL or Visual Basic) preferred.
Proficient quantitative abilities in statistics and econometrics. Some experience with asset pricing theory and quantitative finance preferred.
Proficient analytical and research skills, including the ability to interpret, summarize, and present analytical results.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing work loads.
Effective oral and written communication skills.

Mental/Physical Requirements

Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently
Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work
Frequently travels by airplane, train or car as necessary to perform work at another location
Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data
Generally works in an office environment
