Contribute to the development of strategies and approaches to promote regional cooperation and integration (RCI) and support the implementation of ADB's RCI strategy. Conduct economic research and provide support for the analytical base for ADB's strategic policy and operational agenda. Contribute to the preparation and dissemination of research outputs and publications, including flagship publications. Work with clear policies and specific objectives with regular supervision.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

Doctorate degree, or equivalent, in economics or related fields with specialization in international trade and finance, economic integration, and development economics. Master's degree in Economics, combined with specialized experience in similar organization/s, may be considered in lieu of a Doctorate degree.

Relevant Experience

New graduates at post-graduate level or experienced economists.
Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level.
At least 4 years of professional experience including research and teaching experience during graduate school years.
For experienced economists, proven publications records in economic research to be valued.
Strong background in econometric analysis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
International experience working in several countries.
