Duties
Reporting to the Academic Director, the incumbent will identify questions and unsettled issues in important areas of public policy including tax, immigration, entitlements, households finance and regulation. Combine insights from economic theory and large data sets to come up with answers where possible. The answers
will, in part, help provide advice for a large-scale federal model as well as produce complementary independent research. Must be able to work with a team and under
tight deadlines.

This position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications
At least a Masters plus a minimum of 4 years of experience at a research institution.
or at least completed course requirements for a Ph.D except for dissertation but dissertation defense must be imminent. Excellent research, writing and analytical skills required. Some python and/or C# programming experience desirable. Strong interest in public economics and policy.
