You will join a small team of economists analyzing data and developing models to help clients understand the prospects and risks facing the municipal bond market and its stakeholders. Responsibilities include econometric modeling, forecasting and simulation exercises, with emphasis on stress testing under alternative scenarios. You will take part in contract consulting work by assisting senior economists in model specification and estimation, writing interim and final reports, and meeting with clients to discuss current and proposed projects. The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in regional economic analysis including modeling, forecasting and writing.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least a Master's degree in finance or economics and three to five years' experience or a PhD in Finance or Economics, preferably with specialization in finance, public finance or money and banking. The position requires experience in economic analysis, technical writing, and econometric modeling as well as programming in E-views, STATA, R, and other programming languages.
