Financial Support Analysts (Rochester, NY)

Research quantitative & qualitative financial & economic data. Using sophisticated financial, economic & statistical analyses regression statistics, univariate, multivariate, autoregressive statistics, proportion tests and advanced algebra, conduct comprehensive damages analyses to support the company clients' securities fraud cases, M&A etc. Use event study methodology, and construct trading models to estimate damage. Conduct financial analyses for valuation in M&A. Perform DCF analysis, comparable transactions and comparable trading analyses.

Develop advanced financial models, and valuation analyses, conduct research of public disclosures, and perform detailed analyses of public company filings and financial statement analysis. Draft, review, and proofread expert reports applying knowledge in finance and economics. Requires Master's in finance or business administration. In-depth knowledge gained through coursework or experience in performing the following analyses: discounted cash flow analysis, statistical time series analysis, and option valuation. Knowledge gained through coursework or experience in computing economic damages by standard methods including out-of-pocket measures and benefit-of-bargain methods.

Two positions available. Salary $65,686 per year. Work schedule M-F 9am-5pm.
