Applications are invited for permanent, tenurable positions in the Economics Department at Auckland University of Technology. Although applications for the fields listed above will be considered, we will also consider the fields of Public Economics, Health Economics, Industrial Organization and General Economics.

The Department has a strong research culture, and comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs. The Business School has over 6,000 students and over 200 academic staff, and offers degrees at the Bachelor, Masters and PhD levels. Appointments can be made at the level of lecturer (equivalent to assistant professor in the U.S.), senior lecturer or associate professor. Candidates for junior positions should have a PhD and be able to demonstrate promise of excellence in both teaching and research. Candidates for senior positions should have a distinguished record in teaching, research and service. Applications should include a curriculum vitae, at least three references and a research paper.
