We're securing the UK's future. Join us.

As the United Kingdom leaves the European Union, we're faced with an important moment in time in which we're working to secure the ongoing success of the nation. As the Prime Minister has made clear we are seeking to secure a new, deep and special partnership with the European Union. Firstly, we are ensuring the UK is able to negotiate a deal that works well for our people and our economy. And secondly, we are making arrangements at home to ensure we exit smoothly and successfully. As such, we have formed the Department for Exiting the European Union (DExEU) to work collaboratively across government to secure these ambitions.
As a Policy Advisor working on domestic economic policy and delivery, you will be central to this important task. You will work with a variety of high-profile government departments such as Her Majesty's Treasury and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. You will find creative solutions to problems as they arise, enhancing the country's readiness and ensuring government policies support the wider task of smoothly and successfully exiting the European Union. You will produce up-to-date briefings on progress for senior officials and Ministers. You will also act as an expert on your specific policy area, analysing crucial information and sharing this knowledge with your colleagues across various teams.

Working across matrix structures, you will thrive in this role if you are a collaborative team-player with the commitment to see a project through to completion. You will be comfortable working in an environment of ambiguity and able to come to well-considered conclusions on policy matters. You will enjoy a challenge, work well under pressure and have outstanding communication skills.

Alongside the opportunity to help shape the future of the nation you'll receive a competitive salary, access to the civil service pension scheme and training and development opportunities to help grow your career.

So if you're excited about the prospect of joining our innovative team, and have the skills to thrive, then we'd be delighted to welcome you to our ranks.
