The Victoria University of Wellington School of Economics and Finance invites applications for a position at the Professor/Associate Professor level in economics. While we welcome applications from scholars in any field, we are especially interested in scholars studying International Trade.

The successful applicant will be a leading and active scholar in their relevant field. Candidates should have a record of academic leadership in both teaching and research, including successful Ph.D. supervision. A capacity to extend the School's interface with relevant professional and practitioner communities will be viewed positively.

The School of Economics and Finance is a part of the Victoria Business School, and is situated in Wellington's central business district directly opposite The Parliament of New Zealand, close to The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and other Government agencies and the financial centre.

There are many opportunities to work with the business, financial and government sectors. Victoria Business School holds the 'triple crown' (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA) of international accreditations.
