We're changing the way people think about transportation. Not that long ago we were just an app to request premium black cars in a few metropolitan areas. Now we're a part of the logistical fabric of more than 500 cities around the world. Whether it's a ride, a sandwich, or a package, we use technology to give people what they want, when they want it.

For the women and men who drive with Uber, our app represents a flexible new way to earn money. For cities, we help strengthen local economies, improve access to transportation, and make streets safer.

And that's just what we're doing today. We're thinking about the future, too. With teams working on autonomous trucking and self-driving cars, we're in for the long haul. We're reimagining how people and things move from one place to the next.

This is a rare opportunity for an intellectually curious marketing expert to work in one of Uber's most critical and fastest growing divisions. If you're ready to go deep on a rewarding set of global challenges and if you've got the skills, experience, passion, and a strong team mentality - read on and get in touch!

The Market and Consumer Research team shapes the marketing and business direction of Uber by providing data-driven answers to the company's most important questions. Composed of researchers, data scientists, and engineers, our team makes an impact across Uber by uncovering rich, deep insights that inform the marketing and creative process using brand, position, message, and segmentation research techniques.

Our team is passionate about our customers, action-oriented and sparks creativity. We produce the highest-quality insights while pioneering original research techniques.

As a Quantitative Analyst, it is your responsibility to help shape insights that influence the roadmap and direction for Uber's business and marketing. To do so, you'll work together with marketing, Ops, and Product teams locally and across the region to answer key business questions by leading, planning, and completing quantitative insights research. We have a data-driven culture here, and you'll play an important part in ensuring it's maintained throughout Uber's initiatives.

Your job will include analyzing raw survey data and crosstabs to validate and surface insights; working with vendors to direct quantitative studies and analysis; creating, editing, and workshopping presentations; writing research briefs and topline memos; and working with stakeholders across the organization to define the primary research questions and objectives, to deliver results, and to take the resulting insights and put them into action.

If you value the role of market research, have the analytical ability to identify key trends and ladder them up to marketing strategies and broad creative themes, and like working in a team then we're looking for you.
