The Research Assistant will work on a project funded by the Nuffield Foundation on 'The Importance of Parental Beliefs in Parental Investment Decisions' based in the Department of Economics at UCL. The department has an outstanding international reputation in key areas of current research including applied theory, microeconometrics, game theory, labour economics, development economics, macroeconomics, industrial economics and environmental economics.

Professor Orazio Attanasio, Dr. Teodora Boneva (PI) and Dr. Christopher Rauh are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to work 10 hours/week on the Nuffield Project conducting research in child development and the role of parental beliefs in parental investment decisions. The appointment is funded for 20 months in the first instance.

Key Requirements
The ideal candidate would have an aptitude and commitment to high quality research and the ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team to meet short deadlines. A Master's Degree in Economics OR an undergraduate degree in Economics and currently enrolled on a Masters Degree in Economics is essential.

Hours: Part Time
Hours per week (%FTE): 10 hours per week (27.4% FTE)
Salary: (inclusive of London allowance)£29,485 - £31,091 per annum
