RTI Health Solutions' Health Preference Assessment(HPA) group has a current need for an economist or other quantitative social scientist to lead survey development and data analysis. HPA specializes in assessing the value of benefits and risks for new pharmaceuticals and medical devices. We have a strong commitment to implementing state-of-the art research methods in a collegial working environment.

Do you like to:
Lead and manage projects and project tasks as part of a project team?
Write proposals and maintain communications with study sponsors during all phases of a project?
Present to study sponsors and at industry and academic conferences?

Qualifications:

PhD in a quantitative social-science field such as economics, psychometrics, operations research, or statistics with at least 2 years professional experience or a Master's degree in one of these fields with at least at least 4 years professional experience.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Experience in leading survey-research projects
Quantitative research experience
Proficiency in discrete-choice analysis or other stated-preference methods
Proficiency in statistical software packages including Limdep, SAS, R, Sawtooth Software, or Stata.
Pharmaceutical industry or consultancy experience
