The Department of Social Policy and Intervention and the Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School are seeking to appoint a Research Officer. This is a key role on a new project supported by the Nuffield Foundation. This project is associated with the Oxford Martin Programme on Inequality and Prosperity: Promoting Inclusive Growth and the Employment, Equity and Growth Programme. The project will exploit the availability of new data for the UK and other rich countries.

You will have a PhD in economics, social policy, sociology, political science or another relevant social science discipline, with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and statistical/econometric methods. You will have demonstrated the capacity to produce high-quality peer-reviewed publications on relevant topics, build research collaborations, and present research findings to fellow professionals and other informed members of the public.

This is a full-time post, for a fixed-term of 2 years, starting on 1 April 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.
