NERA Economic Consulting
Frankfurt - Germany
S: Competitive

Description

NERA Economic Consulting (http://www.nera.com/) is a global firm of experts dedicated to applying economic, finance, and quantitative principles to complex business and legal challenges. For half a century, NERA's economists have been creating strategies, studies, reports, expert testimony, and policy recommendations for government authorities and the world's leading law firms and corporations. With its main office in New York City, NERA serves clients from more than 25 offices across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
International arbitration work consists of economic research and analysis of a wide range of economic and finance issues in the context of commercial disputes or investor-state disputes. The majority of disputes arise in energy industries, and the cases may involve price adjustment, hardship, competition law or damages claims. In these matters, NERA's experts work in a variety of capacities, including conducting empirical analyses to determine whether economic evidence supports the claims of either side, applying economic evidence to determine price adjustments under long term contracts or estimating damages. In these cases, NERA's economists work with companies, states, counsel or tribunals in the capacity of party-appointed or tribunal-appointed testifying experts. Depending on the case, NERA's experts may also perform economic consulting roles.
