Centralized Transaction Operations (CTO), which is aligned under Corporate Sector, provides a wide range of global operational support and services for retail, commercial, treasury, asset wealth management and credit card customers. CTO has approximately 3,500 employees. Under the direction of Group Manager Lew Fischer, CTO is committed to a culture based on Shared Values and Behaviors. CTO is composed of four core operating functions; Acquisition Services, Information and Services, Control and Risk Management, and Payment Workflow Management . Within CTO, these groups are supported by Performance Consulting, Implementation Services and Communications groups.

The Analytical Services Group is responsible for creating, delivering, and continued enhancement and support of superior analytical models built for CTO business units. These models will include, but are not limited to: predictive modeling, rigorous statistical forecasting, neural networks, decision science, decision tree, and rule type based model creations, sophisticated textual type mining and analysis, optimization modeling and statistical process control (SPC) type models. The Analytical Services Group is primarily responsible for developing, implementing and improving the production analytics that support various operations within the CTO organization.

Responsibilities include:

Developing, evaluating and tracking the effectiveness of strategies used to recommend replenishment schedules and amounts to the cash management team
Modifying existing strategies and developing new strategies, forecasts, and predictive models by analyzing historical data
Working closely with business owners to understand the end-to-end process and incorporate the perspective of subject matter experts into the strategies
Reviewing recommendations with senior management and ensuring standard processes are adhered to.
Recommending improvements within the cash management process to improve customer experience
Analyzing large pools of data to discover trends, patterns, or correlations that will assist operations managers in making better business decisions
Identifying process improvements to streamline data collection/management and analytics
Building presentations to summarize and present key messages to senior management sponsors
Coding, testing and implementing strategies within the deployment environment, ensuring that the proper controls and signoffs are in place

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years experience using data mining / analytical methods, preferably in an operations organization
Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, computer science or related technical discipline
Detailed technical knowledge of and hands-on experience with various statistical and predictive modeling methods (ANOVA, regression, neural networks, decision trees)
Strong listening, presentation, communication and influencing skills
Experience supporting key management decisions with clear and concise data analysis
Strong SQL and SAS programming skills (Base/Advanced SAS Programming Certification preferred)
Hands-on experience with data gathering/management/manipulation; able to systematically connect to Oracle/DB2/Sybase systems to collect and manipulate data
Experience using SAS Enterprise Miner
Previous experience with decision-based analytics preferred
