About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Economist for Compass Lexecon, LLC in Pasadena, CA to perform research on business development and marketing.

This position requires a Master's degree in economics, finance or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three years of experience in economic consulting and/or quantitative economic research and financial analysis.

Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) – must possess the following: SAS and STATA statistical programming languages; Capital IQ and Bloomberg financial databases; writing reports on economic and financial issues; complex econometric modeling, including high level multivariable regression analysis; financial analysis and analytical and valuation model development using Excel; damage assessment analysis; and business valuation of private and publicly-traded companies.
