The Role

Under the general supervision of the Chief Economist and Vice President of Business Intelligence, this position is responsible for collecting and analyzing residential for-sale and for-rent real estate data in various markets, as well as generating pricing recommendations for new construction developments. Creates and updates content for standard and customized feasibility reports.

Job Description

Provides support for the Chief Economist, the executive team, VP of Sales, Project Directors to collect and analyze real estate data (both new construction and resales) for new business development efforts and to inform clients on pertinent market information for stronger sales performance.
Works with sales, marketing and business intelligence departments to ensure innovative methods and formats to report on market conditions.
Collects and analyzes data and produces content for the following initiatives:
Pricing Models
Custom Market Reports
New Business Presentations
Internal and external reports
Pipeline Reports
Interpret the above data and be able to opine on trends and predictions
Develops and maintains a research digital library
Develops and implements data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Works to develop research to maximize and leverage different business groups within the company's umbrella
Assists with other research and technology initiatives, as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

BA/BS degree required
Minimum three years of experience in the research field, residential real estate preferred
Strong research, writing and verbal communication skills
Mastery of MS Office Suite
Extensive Excel and database management
Knowledge of a statistical software
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Team spirit and initiative
