6th European Conference on Sport Economics

The Department of Economics at the University of Antwerp and the European Sports Economics Association (ESEA) are delighted to invite you to the 6th annual European Conference in Sports Economics. The conference takes place from September 3rd to 5th 2014 at the City Campus of the University of Antwerp. The event will be co-hosted by the International Association for Sports Economists (IASE) and the University of Leuven.

The program includes keynote speeches by Professor Michael Lechner (University of St. Gallen) and Professor Ignacio Palacios-Huerta (London School of Economics) as well as contributed sessions. The call for paper submissions is now open.

On September 2nd and 3rd the Department of Economics organizes a supplementary master class on “Economic Policy and the Sports Industry”. This 2-day course is specifically aimed at graduate students in sports economics and policy makers in the field.
