About the Business Line
Economics
We provide services with a concentration in economic analysis. Our economic services encompass planning and programming, measuring and testing, and strategy and implementation for a broad range of clients.

Job Summary

General Interest in conducting research – i.e. online, via telephone, various industry and news publications
Strong quantitative skills -. Able to analyze economic and demographic data, real estate data, and similar data sources.
Good writing skills - Able to clearly, concisely, and creatively communicate a wide range of data in a narrative / paragraph form, using MS Word or Powerpoint.
Strong Interpersonal skills – willingness to take initiative; ability to work in a team environment, across offices and regions, communicating information clearly.
Understanding / experience with software such as Arcview GIS, and statistical software, primarily Microsoft Excel.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work within variable deadlines, and handle multiple assignments that may vary in subject matter and technical requirements.
The applicant should have a general interest in economics, real estate, and economic development, public policy, planning, recreation & tourism, attractions, and/or public-use facilities. Current areas of focus include Sports facility economics, Renewable energy, and Economic development, including revitalization of older commercial and industrial corridors

Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree required in economics, planning, public policy or related
0-4 years professional experience working for a company involved in planning, economic development or sports and leisure
Interest in sports economics

Preferred Qualifications

Experience calculating fiscal & economic impacts is important.
Experience with real estate financial modeling is useful
Prior experience with sports industry economics
Willingness to travel for work
Masters in Economics, Public Policy, or MBA preferred
