The Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) program at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), a new research university established in collaboration with MIT, invites applications for a faculty position in Economics at the rank of tenure track Assistant Professor in the Social Sciences.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise and research in the fields of urban economics, development economics, behavioral economics, ecological economics, economic history and research methods. We seek scholars with the capacity and interest to contribute to an innovative interdisciplinary academic environment that entails collaboration across multiple disciplines of the humanities, arts and social sciences.

Candidates should demonstrate strong research skills, an active research program and an established record for or strong promise of peer-reviewed publications and scholarly productivity. Selected candidates will conduct research, teach elective courses in their fields of expertise and contribute to teaching the social science core course. All faculty work closely with the HASS Lead to contribute to the continued development of the program as it grows.
