The Department of Economics in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a tenure-track position in economics at the entry or advanced Assistant Professor level. Successful candidates will demonstrate the drive and vision to develop an innovative, cutting-edge, and internationally recognized research program in the fields of economic development, international economics, health economics, public economics, labor economics or industrial organization. In addition, candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. We are seeking individuals who dare to be first.

The Department of Economics supports undergraduate degrees in Economics and Economics Education and graduate degrees in Economics (M.A., Ph.D.), Economics and Applied Econometrics (M.S.), and Economics Education (Ph.D.). The normal teaching load is two courses per semester, with a reduced load for new faculty. Salary for the position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
