This is an excellent opportunity for you to take a lead role as a senior member of our Investigations team.

Working with senior managers and Commissioners, as well as New Zealand businesses, you will provide thought leadership and technical expertise. You will ensure the success of projects relating to mergers and authorisations and competition investigations.

You will have proven expertise in competition law and its frameworks, including a sound grasp of relevant case-law and legislation, or an in-depth knowledge of competition economics issues.

You will enjoy the challenge of applying economic theory to real-life business issues and thrive on undertaking complex analysis and have the ability to communicate this information effectively. You will also share your knowledge and enthusiasm through coaching and mentoring a project team of intelligent and motivated individuals.

Ideally you will have a post graduate qualification in law or economics and have experience:

•Undertaking competition analysis or mergers and acquisitions analysis;
•Managing projects and achieving project goals;
•Working in a multidisciplinary environment; and
•Writing and communicating complex issues.
