Midlands Mngmt Corp seeks a COO in OK City, OK to review & approve plans for the control of dvpmt, budget spending, product effectiveness, customer service, & product efficiency. Supervise & underwrite Self Insured Excess Workers' Compensation & Domestic & Int'l Reinsurance products. Review company performance against industry standards. Approve changes in direction of plans. Develop & recommend all project dvpmt. Develop specific short-term & long-term plans & programs together w/ supporting budget & requests & project development. Review & approve cost control reports, cost estimates, & manpower & facilities requirements forecasts. Coordinate w/ company departments to establish procedures & oversee their performance of responsibilities. Review & approve major projects involving major functional changes within the company's functional areas. Develop plans for new areas of business along w/ sufficient planning for areas that support the mission of the company. Requires: 10 yrs of exp w/ commercial insurance including 5 yrs of transactional exp w/ Self Insured Excess Worker's Compensation & Reinsurance; reinsurance exp in Int'l and Domestic Markets; Lloyds of London insurance market; defining client reinsurance product structuring & placement in market; & managing multiple teams and budgets. 20-25% domestic & int'l travel required. $221,125-$310,000.
