About the role

Deloitte Access Economics is currently looking to expand and has two to three positions at the analyst and senior analyst levels for high calibre economists. We are seeking to recruit talent applicants for our growing Melbourne office.

Deloitte Access Economics is a dynamic organisation with a fast-paced, stimulating and challenging work environment. This role will involve quantitative and qualitative analysis of economic issues that are of interest to our clients, communication of findings in reports and presentations, liaising with clients and assisting in the development of new business opportunities.

About your experience

We are seeking applicants with one to two years' experience as a professional economist in either the public or private sector coupled with a passion for economic policy and the application of economic theory to real world issues.

An honours degree in economics and strong academic results are viewed as essential. Previous experience in other consulting firms or specialist economic agencies within the Australian or State Governments (such as the Reserve Bank of Australia, or similar) would be an advantage.

Successful candidates need to have strong analytical and/or quantitative skills, good communication skills, be confident working with data, be self-motivated, and team players in addition to a willingness to advance their skills, working with some of the best economists in Australia.
