Major Responsibilities:

Analyze the main U.S. macroeconomic data and write BTMU Focus USA Diary about the data with analysis and insights and publish on Internet BTMU home page for internal/external client use
Write BTMU Focus USA Monthly with economic data analysis and insight and publish on Internet BTMU home page for internal/external client use
Assist the Chief U.S. Economist and other economists for economic seminars, lectures, and presentation etc., as well as other office projects requested by the Chief U.S. economist
Translate weekly economic/financial reports in English into Japanese; translate weekly economic reports in Japanese into English and distribute for external/internal clients' use
Performs related duties including administrative work and participates in special project as required

Qualifications

Ability to translate English reports to Japanese and Japanese reports to English
Experience as assistant economist preferable
Excel, Word skills
BA degree, or equivalent work experience
